My term as a Commissioner of the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) will end on December 31, 2019. It has been my high honor and distinct privilege to serve as an elected Commissioner from 2016-2018 and as Chair of the Commission in 2019, CEA’s 20th year.
As my four years as a CEA Commissioner are coming to an end, I would like to publicly thank all those individuals without whose support I would not have been able to achieve this honor, by far the greatest of my professional career. This includes my extremely supportive and understanding coworkers and the Governing Board at Language On, the many colleagues and friends I have made on the Commission, as well as CEA’s stellar staff of outstanding professionals in the field of English language teaching, administration and accreditation.
I would like to give special thanks to CEA’s outgoing Executive Director Mary Reeves, who encouraged me to run for a position on the Commission several years ago and who has served as a mentor, and trusted friend, during my four years on the Commission.
