I am pleased to announce that this short course in African-American English (AAE) for language instructors is now available to the public at large. I created this course as part of the final project during the capstone course in my Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree program in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in English as a Second Language at the University of Virginia in the Spring of 2024.
I encourage all who are interested in AAE to explore this course and its contents. With the exception of the course’s copyrighted materials, all of which are clearly indicated and properly attributed, this project represents my own original work and research. I hope that it proves beneficial to those who take the time to review it.
