My work as a volunteer reviewer for the fourth edition of the World Link series of English language textbooks has come to an end. I am proud to have participated with dozens of English language teaching colleagues from around the world in providing feedback and advice to National Geographic Learning’s editorial team as it developed and launched the fourth edition of this leading series of ESL/EFL teaching and learning materials.
Since reviewing National Geographic Learning’s first English language textbook series (Pathways) in 2012, I have been a strong proponent of NGL’s commitment to culturally responsive pedagogy and its use of authentic materials in the ESL and EFL classroom. I was especially pleased to participate as an invited guest at the 2017 National Geographic Learning Educational Forum in Phoenix, Arizona.
